"After being recommended here from my local vet, I was a little nervous, never having taken a bird to the vet. Upon calling the office, I had so many (what I thought were silly) questions on taking them in, trimming beak, wings, and even what to bring him in, and they answered them so kindly, not once making me feel incompetent or annoying as I have at other vet offices.Upon arriving, I was greeted with so much warmth, which is something I strive to find for my furred and feathered babies. The entire staff greeted Comet with such love and care.Once called back with Miss Jessie, I knew I was in the right place. She has been in vet care for 15 years and has the most patience and care. She is knowledgeable and so bubbly it's contagious.Dr. Anderson had come in to examine Comet, and I was blown away. His care, knowledge, and skill set are the best I've seen with any bird in my life.He is a huge advocate on pellet diets and spent so much time just explaining his experiences in switching over and tips I can implement to get my baby switched over.After 3 days and his amazing advice, I have successfully gotten Comet to eat pellets.I had tried in the past to get him to eat it, but he just would not take to it.I am so happy to be able to help other bird parents successfully switch over and look forward to getting my little Zebra Finch, Shu, to switch over later this week as well.Comet says hello and thank you for the good food and tips for his mom.Thank you guys, you're amazing.
